Goods left on consignment for up to three years will be covered by Simon Ray Limited insurance.

Goods left on consignment for longer than three years will need to be covered by the owner’s own insurance when the three year period expires.

Works of art left in storage not purchased from Simon Ray Limited must be covered by the owner’s own insurance throughout the entire period of storage.

In the case of goods delivered to the Client on a “Sale or Return” basis, the Client shall notify Simon Ray Ltd within 14 days after delivery whether or not it elects to purchase the goods. The goods must be paid for or returned to Simon Ray Ltd immediately upon the Client making such an election. If the client fails to make and election and notify Simon Ray Ltd within 30 days after delivery of the goods to the Client, it shall be deemed to have elected to purchase the goods and the purchase price shall become immediately due and payable.

If the Client elects not to purchase the goods, the client shall bear the costs involved in their safe return to Simon Ray Ltd by courier or other secure means and cover the insurance.

The Client understands that while the art is on approval, the client will be fully responsible for the work(s) of art up to its (their) full value.
